Kick More, Chase Less, Play Better!

Make every kick count with a Solo Football Training Belt that lets kids and adults practise their football skills without needing a training partner or constantly chasing after the ball.

The elastic cord stretches as the ball moves away and brings it back towards you, allowing you to practise passing, shooting, juggling and ball control again and again. The hands-free design makes solo training easy, whether you're practising in the garden, at the park or on the football pitch.

One of his most-used football bits

We've got cones, training bibs and all sorts in the shed. This is the thing he keeps asking me to bring out at the moment.

A great little extra for football-mad kids

My nine year old plays for a local junior side and is always asking me to go outside for a kickabout. Between work, dinner and everything else, I can't always manage a full practice session with him. We bought this so he could have a go at some simple drills without constantly chasing the ball across the field. The first few kicks were a little awkward while he worked out the return, but he's got the hang of it now. We still do proper passing and shooting practice together, but this has been a handy little addition to his football bag.

Not magic, still needs practice

It doesn't automatically make a child brilliant at football, obviously. But my son enjoys the repetition and it's nice seeing him work on his control.

Better than I expected

Thought he'd play with it once and forget about it. He's been asking to take it with us whenever we visit the playing field.

Nearly lost his balance

Our first attempt was a bit overenthusiastic. We slowed things down and focused on controlling the returning ball instead of kicking as hard as possible.

Proper father and son time

It's become a little Saturday tradition for us. We head down to the park, do a few drills and then have a normal kickabout together.

Chuffed to bits ⚽

My boy absolutely loves it!

Supervised practice is important

My youngest needed help with the waist strap and understanding how the cord moves. We only use it with an adult around in a clear space.

Seven year old full of energy

He'd happily spend every waking minute kicking a football. This has given him another way to enjoy it outside.

Weekend warm-up

My lad likes practising a few touches before heading out to his junior football match.

A nice little stocking filler

Bought it for my football-loving nephew because he already owns just about every football shirt imaginable.

Perfect for quick kicks

Useful when he only wants ten or fifteen minutes of football rather than a full afternoon at the park.

I wasn't convinced at first

Thought it looked a bit unusual, but watching my son figure out how to control the rebound was actually quite entertaining.

Less waiting for Dad

I can't always get outside straight away when he wants a kickabout. This gives him something to do while I'm nearby keeping an eye on him.

The first try was chaos 😂

My son kicked it, got excited and turned completely the wrong way when the ball came back. We had a good laugh and started again.

Dad invented new drills

My husband has been showing our eight year old different ways to receive the ball after it returns. The two of them seem to have made it their weekend project.

C

Fits our football nicely

Once we'd positioned the ball holder correctly around our size 4 football, my son was ready to practise.

School holiday entertainment

My son was desperate to play football every day over half term. Having this in his kit bag was handy when nobody else was free.

C
Chloe W.
Daughter's new football club

She's only recently started playing and loves having something she can use to practise outside of her weekly sessions.

C

Not the same as passing with a mate

Obviously it's different from having someone pass the ball back properly, but it's still a fun way to get repeated touches.

Our Sheffield garden

We don't have a huge garden, so we use this on the open grass at the local park instead. Works nicely for that.

No second child required

My youngest loves football but his older brother isn't always interested. Nice that he can enjoy some simple solo practice.

O
Owen L.
My partner tried it first

He claimed he was checking it was set up correctly. Twenty minutes later he was still practising his own football skills.

I

His daily practice

He likes getting a few kicks in after school before sitting down to do his homework.

Happy Dad here

My football-mad son is delighted and I'm no longer spending every practice session running after his shots.

D

Clever little setup

The adjustable strap is a nice touch, especially as my husband occasionally wants a go himself.

W

Back garden tournament 😂

My two boys have invented their own competition to see who can control the returning ball for the longest.

K

She loves the belt

My daughter thinks wearing it makes her look like she's doing professional football training.

J

Grandparent birthday present

Bought this for our grandson who plays for his local junior team. He loved the idea of practising when his dad was busy.

A
Anthony G.
One small criticism

The cord occasionally gets twisted if my boy spins around too much. We just stop and straighten it before carrying on.

A

No more football near the patio doors

We've moved his practice sessions into an open part of the garden. Much better for everyone involved.

R

Football boots straight on

My son gets home from school and immediately asks whether he can go outside for a practice.

A

He watched Dad demonstrate

My husband showed him the first few kicks and then handed it over. Our son was absolutely delighted when he managed his own.
