Build a Little Christmas Magic Every Day
Make the countdown to Christmas part of the fun with a festive building-block advent calendar that gives kids something new to discover and build throughout the festive season. Behind the 24-day countdown are Christmas-themed pieces that gradually come together into a colourful festive display.

Instead of an advent calendar that’s forgotten once the doors are opened, this one becomes part of Christmas play. Kids can build, arrange and decorate their Christmas scene as the big day gets closer, then proudly display their finished creation throughout the festive season.

Seeing the whole tree and all the little festive builds together at the end was lovely. My daughter said she'd made her own Christmas decoration from scratch.
Really enjoyed the idea and the finished display looks sweet. Would happily get another for a niece or nephew.
My daughter has been banned from investigating the next compartment. She claims she was only checking that everything was there.
My son insists on following the building steps himself now. He doesn't always get it right first time, but he's very proud when he does.
It's lovely having a Christmas activity that doesn't sing at us every five minutes. Just building and a lot of excited chatter.
My husband was originally only supposed to help with one tricky bit. He's now involved every evening and seems quite pleased about it.
Honestly, as a parent, that makes me very happy. The children still get a festive activity without us covering the dining room in craft supplies.
The best thing is that the finished pieces don't just get forgotten. My son keeps rearranging his little Christmas scene.
My granddaughter takes her time and checks every piece before putting it together. She's so pleased when she finishes one.
My daughter insists that the whole family vote on where each new decoration goes. Even the dog apparently gets a vote.
He'd had a bit of a grumpy start, but sitting down to build his little Christmas piece helped us have a nicer morning together.
I can see us getting something like this every year. The daily building is a really nice way to spend December.
We use this with our older child at the dining table, then clear up properly afterwards. Definitely not suitable for little ones who still put things in their mouths.
Nice to have an advent calendar that encourages them to make something rather than just collect bits and pieces.
Bought two because the children have very different ideas about how a Christmas tree should look. Definitely the right decision.
We do ours in the evening rather than the morning. It gives my son something to focus on after a busy school day.
My daughter keeps checking the compartments we've already opened, as if there's going to be another surprise inside.
I wanted something my grandson could do a little bit of each day. He's really enjoyed working on his tree with his mum.
I thought it would be a fairly basic countdown, but the fact that everything comes together into a festive display is a nice touch.
Bought this for a friend's child who loves construction toys. It felt a bit more personal than another box of chocolates.
We've started doing the day's little build after breakfast. He's always keen to get dressed quickly so he has time for it.
One of the smaller bits disappeared on us for a while. We found it, thankfully, but now everything goes straight into a tray.
The mini decorations are the bits my daughter seems to enjoy most. She likes deciding where they belong.
My son keeps telling me twenty-four days is far too long to wait. The calendar has definitely made him more aware of the countdown.
The daily projects are fairly manageable. Just enough to give them something to look forward to without taking over the morning.
We use a little tray for the day's pieces and keep the finished bits on the shelf. Makes things much easier.
It's become our little December activity together. We sit on the rug, open the next compartment and work out what we're making.
My daughter wants her completed tree in the front window so people walking past can see it. She's very proud.
My son has started checking the date every morning so he knows which compartment is next.
Sometimes we're in a rush and don't have time to finish the build before school. We just do it after tea instead. Works fine.
Building blocks and Christmas. Good combination.
Every time we add a new piece, my daughter spends another ten minutes deciding where everything should sit.
Not every part went together instantly. My son needed a little help, but he enjoyed figuring things out.
